Rooney, Michael, Jackson, and Adam
There are few things better than getting to freeze time for a family as you get to watch their kids grow before your eyes! I first got to photograph this family when mom was pregnant with baby #2, again when he was a newborn, and now for his first birthday! We’d had this session on the calendar for a while because both sets of grandparents would be around to celebrate, so when the weather that morning didn’t cooperate, we just moved the session indoors to their lovely home. We started off with a few outdoor portraits in a break from the rain, and then spent some time in the boys’ rooms. There’s just something genuine and fun about capturing a family in the environment where they’re the most comfortable. They really got to play together, and I got to capture it all! And what in the moment may feel a little chaotic, in the images I see when I get home, I just fall in love with how real they are!

Hannah’s Newborn Photo Session
I used to work with this baby girl’s dad in the Engineering world, so I was excited when they got in touch to schedule a photo session for Hannah in her nursery at home. She was a bit sleepy and snuggly, and reportedly, less smiley than usual because she’d gotten shots the day before, but that didn’t phase me, or these parents. And I know I say this all the time, but when you relax and just be yourself is when the So You moments happen. We were able to capture some really sweet and tender real moments of this family enjoying each other’s company, which I know they will love to look back on!

Jessica, Justin, and Daniella welcome Graham! | Lifestyle Newborn Photography
I have known this mama since she was a child and besties with my first cousin growing up. And as I got older, I even babysat her and her younger sister! Miami’s been sad since she moved away in High School, but she’s kept in touch with all her old peeps, and everyone was so excited when she moved back for a work assignment with her family of 3 and even more so when they became a family of 4! Daniella is a great big sister who’s full of personality, and we had so much fun during our session! She is talkative, friendly, independent, and laughs and smiles so easily! I hope to photograph this family again before they move away, and whenever they come to town to visit!!
