I've been waiting for a few weeks to post photos from this fun shoot since they were surprise holiday presents for their family, and I'm excited to be sharing them now that the holidays are over.
This shoot got off to a rough start when Jack fell in mud getting out of the car, but it allowed us to bond early on, so that didn't stop us from capturing some great moments of this family! And I'm so glad mama got different colored headbands for these identical twins. If I remember correctly, Olivia's in the black.
Thanks for having me capture their smiles, and I hope to see more of them as they grow!

Alona, Sam, Jordyn, and Casey
This family drove down from Pennsylvania for vacation, and asked me to do a photo shoot at the beach. Since neither of us celebrate the holiday, we met Christmas Eve and had the place pretty much to ourselves! Given all the snow up North, I'm sure their friends back home will be jealous, and they'll have the best holiday pics of the bunch! The sky was overcast, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the waves, sand, and greenery that John U Lloyd Beach State Park has to offer.

Gabriela’s 5th Birthday at Ooh La La
Gabriela’s 5th birthday was every princess’ dream come true! Before I arrived, the girls all had their hair and make-up done. Then they had cupcakes, a dance party, dressed up for a fashion show, and shared a pink lemonade “champagne” toast! The birthday girl, her friends, and all of their moms had a lovely afternoon at the spa, and I was glad to be there to be able to capture these moments for them.
Joanna, Andrew, and Joshua
Joanna and I have had this shoot scheduled for a while, so I was excited to meet these guys this weekend! When Joanna and I were brainstorming ways to keep Joshua entertained and what they were going to wear, she said he was into balls, and her description of their outfits reminded me of my ball pit balls, so I brought some. They added some color and subtle playful fun at the end of our shoot.
Joshua was not his usual happy self (so I'm told, and he's currently fighting a cold according to the post-game reports), but we still managed to capture great pics of him and his family, including quite possibly the best lighting of trees in my portfolio to date (second full size photo down)! Feel better little dude, b/c I hope to see more of your smiles next time!

Jenny, Javier, Noah, and Elijah welcome Abby
Baby girl Abigail was born 10 days ago, so we scheduled her newborn shoot at my favorite grassy park to capture her welcome into this loving family. My style for newborn shoots is minimal on props and poses, leaning more towards going with the flow of what baby is doing, and using mom and dad as natural props. She is so sweet and tiny, and I hope to get her in front of my camera again as she grows. Congrats on becoming a family of five!!
