This family was very special to photograph, as it’s my brother and sister in law and my nieces!  We scheduled the session for when we got together over Thanksgiving weekend.  We were originally going to shoot in a more urban location, but due to nap schedules, did the session at a park closer to home.  I love the girl’s matching dresses and boots, and how they color coordinated with dad.  We had a great time posing for the camera, and capturing some great candid moments too.  Thanks for having me do what I do with you!

Rooney, Michael, and Jackson welcome Adam

After our maternity session, I knew this family would be full of love for their newborn, and their session did not disappoint!  I got to photograph Adam 4 days new as he adjusted to life at home with his loving parents and older brother.  He was awake throughout our entire session, curious about his environment, but I’m happy to report he had a good 4 hour sleep when we were done!  Welcome to the world little man, and I hope to get you in front of my camera again as you grow!

Wesley, Flynn, Aunt Rochelle, and Flynn’s Grandparents

I went to camp with this mama and her sister and we grew up in the same community, so I was excited when she called me to photograph her with her little man and their family when they were visiting from out of town.  We met at the park and hung out under the shade of a big tree, enjoying a cool breeze on this warm December 25 in Miami, Florida.  Flynn is just adorable, and smiled easily for his family and me.  They all shared so much love for him and each other, which was my pleasure to capture!

With every session, I try to take the best photographs of that family that have ever been taken and will ever be taken.  For repeat clients, that means I’m constantly challenging and pushing myself to be better, and for a first time family like this one, I’m setting myself up for a really big challenge next time!  Mom is too, because she nailed her girls' styling with matching tutus and tanks for the twins and alternating colors for older sis.  And I just love that the girls accessorized themselves with those bracelets and necklaces!

I went to High School with Jaclyn and Keith, and we’ve kept in touch via Facebook in recent years.  Keith and I actually grew up around the corner from each other!  It was great to see them and their family and capture their fun and togetherness!  Let's not wait 19 years to see each other again!
